Billing Department

Certified Professional Coder/Insurance Specialist

Pediatric Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists is looking for a full-time Certified Professional Coder/Insurance specialist to work in our corporate headquarters in St Petersburg FL.

The insurance & coding specialist verifies insurance, enters charges, assists staff with coding questions, takes payments from patients, provides estimates to our families for care, and properly managing all aspects of the patient account.

Experience in a similar practice preferred. Experience with Next Gen software, electronic medical records, and Phreesia Patient Intake software a plus. Applicant must have excellent, courteous, and effective communication skills along with an active CPC with the AAPC.

Front Desk Receptionist

Front Desk – Sarasota

Pediatric Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists is looking for a part-time Front Desk Medical Receptionist for our Sarasota Office at 5911 N Honore, Suite 116, Sarasota, FL

Front Desk is responsible for greeting patients, patient registration, verifying insurance benefits, preparation of EMR documentation, scheduling follow up appointments, coordinating patient flow, collecting co-pays, preparing charts and other duties as assigned.

Experience in a similar practice preferred. Experience with Next Gen software, electronic medical records and Phreesia Patient Intake software a plus. Applicant must have excellent, courteous and effective communication skills.

The position will be based primarily in our Sarasota office.  This position is 15-24 hours per week.  Schedule varies slightly weekly based on clinic schedule.  Schedule set in advance.

Medical assistant experience preferred however we will train the candidate who best fits our team.

This position is 15-24 hours per week. Schedule varies slightly weekly based on clinic schedule.  Schedule set in advance.

Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse

Pediatric Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists is looking for a full-time, Florida licensed, Registered Nurse (RN).

We are seeking an energetic, professional individual who possesses excellent patient service and nursing skills. This RN position is responsible for providing quality efforts in all areas of communication between our physicians and their patients.  Responsibilities include; triage telephone calls, education of surgical information, accurate review and follow up of laboratory, pathology, X-ray, CT and audiogram results, communication of prescription information, post-op follow up calls to parents and other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Ability to multi-task a must.  Pediatric experience preferred.  EMR experience preferred. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus. May be asked to travel between clinics.

The position is 40 hours a week.
