Billing Department

Pediatric Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists is looking for a full-time Surgery Pre-Cert/Financial Specialist.

Responsible for ensuring accurate documentation of insurance authorizations and benefit verifications for surgical cases and diagnostic testing.

• Verification and documentation of surgical benefits
• Obtain authorizations for surgical cases and diagnostic testing
• Work surgical denials
  • Draft written appeals
  • Coordinate peer to peer review calls
  • Coordinate and document Letters of Agreement with non-par insurance plans
• Calculate and estimate surgical costs for the guarantor
• Answer billing calls through the billing rotation line
• Other billing duties as assigned by Director of Billing

Salary commensurate with experience.  Full time 40 hours per week.  Opportunity to work from home after 90-day probation period.
