Normal post-Operative Complaints

  • Slight bloody discharge from surgical site
  • Minimal discomfort

Call the Office if You Notice Any of the Following

  • Pain not relieved with Tylenol or Motrin
  • Increased redness, swelling or discharge from surgical site

Home Care Instructions

  • OK to return to school the next day
  • Surgeon will tell you if you can get the incision wet or not.  If yes, OK to shower. Can use a warm (NOT HOT) blow dryer on low speed to dry the surgical site
  • Steri strips will fall off on their own. Do not remove strips prematurely
  • Apply antibiotic ointment as directed or twice daily
