Normal post-Operative Complaints
- Slight bloody discharge from surgical site
- Minimal discomfort
Call the Office if You Notice Any of the Following
- Pain not relieved with Tylenol or Motrin
- Increased redness, swelling or discharge from surgical site
Home Care Instructions
- OK to return to school the next day
- Surgeon will tell you if you can get the incision wet or not. If yes, OK to shower. Can use a warm (NOT HOT) blow dryer on low speed to dry the surgical site
- Steri strips will fall off on their own. Do not remove strips prematurely
- Apply antibiotic ointment as directed or twice daily
